Roles & responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in the application of AI technologies within the consumer health domain, specifically related to skincare solutions.
- Follow the course design documents from the client
- Select and curate appropriate sources/content for each competency/lesson/learning objectives as needed
- Write instructional content as needed: case studies, concept guides, interactive scripts
- Writing formative assessments
- Review formative assessment items for accuracy, currency, alignment with learning objectives, and consistency with the course instructional content
- Ensure the hands-on projects, labs, and assignments (e.g., Genomic Insight Exploration Lab, Skin Attribute Mapping Project, Personalized Skincare Report) are relevant, effective, and feasible for learners.
- Validate and enhance portfolio artifacts produced during the educational program to ensure alignment with industry standards. (e.g., Genomic Data Insight Summary, Skin Profile Analysis Report, Interactive Dashboard Mockup)
- Ensure technical accuracy in topics ranging from Cell Biology and Genetic Mechanism to DNA Sequencing Analysis, Biomarker Identification, and Machine Learning Application.
- Verify the accurate and practical integration of real-world case studies, such as the Olay Skin Advisor platform.
- Weekly to twice-weekly meetings with client project leaders and/or IDs
- Weekly check-in meeting with the LM SME manager
SME Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in AI applications in genomics and personalized medicine; experience in consumer health products.
- Experience in career fields such as: Genomics & Bioinformatics (Focusing on AI-enhanced analysis of genetic sequences, variant detection, and biomarker identification); Skincare & Dermatology (Exploring how AI technologies assess skin attributes and recommend personalized products); Biotechnology (Expertise in AI-accelerated ingredient discovery and biological data interpretation); Healthcare or Consumer Health Technology with a focus on personalized care and wellness recommendations based on biological and behavioral data
- Knowledge of Data Privacy Awareness in handling consumer and genetic data.
- SMEs must include a cover letter addressing how they approach online course development and/or how they teach.
- Experience writing instructional materials and online course development
