Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Supporting Actions

Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance

1. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all plant electrical, utility and instrumentation equipment.
2. Handle calibration and maintenance of field instruments and electrical panel (HT/LT switchgear, transformers, Compressors, Furnaces, ETP). Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of electrical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.

Compliance with Safety Standards

1. Ensure strict compliance with plant safety policies, Electrical Safety Rules, and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards.
2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, HIRA, JSA, and incident investigations.
3. Drive Implementation and adherence to LOTOTO, PTW.
4. Ensure Statutory and Regulatory Compliance.

Robotics and Welding Systems

1. Hands-on experience is maintenance and troubleshooting issues related to Robotics (Yaskawa YRC1000)
2. Maintenance and troubleshooting of TIG welding equipment of Fronius (TPS 400i) and Bohler (URANOS NX 3200 AC/DC)

Industrial Automation & Control Systems

1.Strong experience in trouble shooting and programming of HMI & PLC - Siemens (S7-1200/1500, ET 200SP, TIA Portal)( WinCC) AB (ControlLogix,RSlogix) Mitsubishi (MELSEC iQ-F Series) (GT & GS Series)

2. Analyze, modify, optimise PLC logic, interlocks and sequence identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective actions.

3. Ensure proper integration between PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD's and field instrumentation.

4. Maintain backup and version control of all control programs and configurations.

5. Communication protocols: PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Modbus, CC-Link

Energy Management

1. Monitor and analyze energy consumption patterns to identify opportunities for energy savings.

2. Implement energy-efficient practices and technologies to reduce overall energy costs.

Equipment Reliability

1. Develop and implement reliability improvement programs (Predictive Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, CBM, RCM, Corrective Maintenance) for all critical electrical and instrumentation equipment.

2. Conduct RCA for all equipment failures and implement containment/corrective and preventive actions.

3. Measure and Improve maintenance KPI's - MTBF, MTTR, Equipment Availability, Failure Rate, PM, PdM Schedule Adherence

Team Development

1. Provide training and development opportunities for the E&I maintenance team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

2. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture within the team.

Spare Parts Management

1. Ensure adequate inventory of critical spare parts for electrical and instrumentation equipment.

2. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely availability of spare parts.

Continuous Improvement

1. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of E&I maintenance activities.
2. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
3. Lead in-house projects for enhancement of safety, maintenance performance, quality.
4. 5S, Kaizen, TPM implementation

Documentation and Reporting

1. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
2. Breakdown and RCA - 5W2H, Why-Why, Ishikawa, CAPA

3. Generate regular reports on maintenance performance and key metrics for management review.

4. Documentation and Certification audit of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
