About The Team

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven individual to grow MariBank's SME & Corporate Banking business by acquiring new-to-bank customers and building relationships with key decision-makers.

This client-facing role requires strong prospecting, networking, and credit fundamentals, with a primary focus on loan lead generation and approvals.

Job Description

  • Proactively prospect and acquire new SME and corporate customers to meet growth targets.
  • Build a strong pipeline through cold calling, referrals, networking, and industry events.
  • Engage key decision-makers to understand business needs and present MariBank's banking solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end SME loan applications, approvals, and maintenance for a seamless customer experience.
  • Conduct CDD, KYC, and onboarding reviews in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, risk, compliance, and credit teams to support business objectives.
  • Contribute to process improvements and strategic initiatives, including digitalisation and data analytics.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or credit analyst role in the SME segment.
  • Sound understanding of business financials and credit fundamentals, with the ability to identify quality business opportunities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • Familiarity with SME banking products and solutions, having existing broker contacts is a strong plus.
