ABOUT THE ROLE

clients and translating their challenges into elegant Smartsheet solutions. As a Sales & Pre-Sales Consultant, you will own your accounts, manage your pipeline, and deliver compelling demonstrations that create genuine conviction in the value of Smartsheet as a work intelligence platform. You understand that Smartsheet is not just project management — it is how the world's most operationally sophisticated organisations manage everything from product launches and capital projects to HR onboarding, vendor tracking, and compliance programmes. You bring that understanding to every client conversation and every proposal you write

e.This role is ideal for a 2–5 year professional who is ready to move from supporting to leading client engagements, and who wants to build deep expertise in one of the fastest-growing enterprise work platforms in the world

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

• Build and manage a qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and alliance-sourced opportunities

• Conduct engaging discovery calls, needs assessments, and stakeholder workshops for the target account

• Design and deliver standard and customised Smartsheet demonstrations, including workflow-specific and VSheet industry scenario demonstrations

• Prepare commercial proposals, solution configuration options, and executive summary presentations

• Support and contribute to RFP/RFI responses with solution content, pricing tables, and case study references

• Maintain CRM discipline: accurate pipeline records, activity logs, forecast stages, and client communication tracking.

• Coordinate with delivery teams on post-sale handover: scope documentation, kick-off preparation, and expectation management.• Support existing clients through the adoption curve — identify expansion opportunities and renewal risk.

• Track Smartsheet product developments, AI feature releases, and competitive landscapes

• Collaborate with the broader alliance team on cross-sell opportunities involving Salesforce, Microsoft, DocuSign, and Agiloft.

WHAT YOU BRING

Required:

• 2–5 years of experience in SaaS sales, inside sales, pre-sales consulting, or enterprise software advisory.

• Solid working knowledge of Smartsheet (or comparable platforms: Monday.com, Jira, Asana, MS Projects.

• Genuine interest in how technology transforms enterprise workflows and team productivity.

• Strong communication skills in English — written and verbal; confident presenting to multi-level audience

• Ability to map business challenges to software capabilities and articulate the translation persuasively.

• CRM proficiency for pipeline and opportunity management.

• B.Tech / B.E. preferred; Graduate with MBA/PGDM.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Smartsheet Certified User (SCU) or active progress toward Smartsheet certification

• Exposure to Microsoft 365, Salesforce, or DocuSign in a pre-sales or integration con

• Prior experience with project management, PMO, HR operations, or operational Excel

• Understanding of SaaS subscription commercial models and negotiation dynamics

• Knowledge of B2B SaaS sales methodology: MEDDIC, SPIN, BANT, or equivalent
