Job Overview : We are looking for a hands-onSmartleadexpert to design, build, andoperateour outbound emailinfrastructureend to end. This role will own domain setup, inbox health, campaign execution, and ongoing optimization.
More than just running campaigns, this role requires a strong analytical mindset. You should be able to read signals from data, diagnose problems, and make meaningful adjustments that improve performance over time.
Bonus if you can also design broader marketing automation workflows that connect external signals to outbound campaigns.
Core Responsibilities
Email Infrastructure Setup
- Set up outbound domains and inboxes
- Configure SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and DNS
- BuildSmartleadinfrastructure across multiple domains
- Configure warm-up and sending ramp schedules
- Manage inbox rotation and sending limits
Deliverability Management
- Monitor domain and inbox health daily
- Track bounce rates,replyrates, and spam placement
- Diagnose and resolve deliverability issues
- Adjust sending patterns based on performance signals
- Maintain strong inbox placement and stable domain health
Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Build and manage outbound sequences
- Segment audiences and personalize campaigns
- Run A/B tests and analyze performance trends
- Continuously refine messaging and cadence
- Maintain suppression lists and campaign hygiene
Signal-Based Outreach (Important)
- Build campaigns triggered by signals such as:
- Hiring activity
- Role changes
- Company announcements
- Conference participation
- Industry events
- Integrate signal sources intoSmartleadworkflows
- Maintain structured segmentation logic
Nice to Have: Marketing Automation
- Build workflows across tools such as:
- Smartlead
- Clay
- HubSpot
- Apollo
- Zapier or Make
- Design automated workflows connecting signals to campaigns
- Build lead routing and lifecycle automation
Required Experience
- Proven hands-on experience withSmartlead
- Experience managing multi-domain email systems
- Strong knowledge of SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and DNS
- Experience warming domains andmaintaininginbox health
- Experience supporting B2B outbound campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make performance improvements
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting 3001,000+ emails/day
- Experience running signal-driven outreach
- Experience integrating outbound tools and CRM systems
- Experience troubleshooting deliverability failures
