Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Paharganj, focused on smart metering project activities. Day-to-day tasks include supporting the planning and implementation of smart meters, coordinating with installation teams and vendors, and assisting in data collection and documentation related to meter deployment. The role involves monitoring project progress, identifying basic issues in field implementation, and reporting them to the project lead for resolution. The team member will interact with local consumers and field staff as needed, help ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and contribute to improving metering accuracy and customer experience.
Qualifications

  • Ability to understand basic power distribution and metering concepts, with an interest in smart grid and smart metering technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail for data entry, documentation, and tracking of installation and service records.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with field teams, customers, and project supervisors.
  • Capability to work on-site in field conditions, follow safety protocols, and support coordination across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency with common office software tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email) for reporting and documentation.
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in utility or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing project needs.
