Senior License Desk Consultant (Microsoft Licensing)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior License Desk Consultant to lead and manage a strategic Microsoft License Desk project for a global client. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft licensing, procurement processes, and contract negotiation, along with strong vendor management and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the Microsoft License Desk operations for a global client.
- Provide expert guidance on Microsoft licensing models, compliance, and optimization strategies.
- Lead procurement activities, including license acquisition, renewals, and cost optimization.
- Drive contract negotiations with Microsoft and other vendors to achieve favorable commercial terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Ensure licensing compliance and mitigate risks related to audits and contractual obligations.
- Analyze licensing usage and recommend cost-saving opportunities and improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align licensing strategy with business objectives.
- Prepare and present reports, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Microsoft licensing
- Strong background in IT procurement and contract negotiation.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, particularly with Microsoft.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a global, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications related to Microsoft licensing or Software Asset Management (SAM).
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or global projects.
