Job Description

Insight Direct India is seeking a dedicated SLS Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting our LCS Consultants and Insight's clients by providing robust analysis, consolidating and preparing data, and delivering on client requests. We'll count on you to contribute to Insight's knowledge base and methodologies, driving innovation and efficiencies while ensuring high-quality outputs.

As an SLS Analyst, you will get to:

  • Own and drive the completion of operational implementation of SAM (Software Asset Management) tooling, including data preparation and configuration, and core enablement for clients (where in scope).
  • Deliver a variety of licensing analyses and reconciliations independently, leveraging other SLS Analysts for data gathering, preparation, and analysis.
  • Be responsible for ensuring the quality assurance of other SLS Analysts work.
  • Be responsible for coordinating multiple concurrent tasks for your own work and that of other SLS Analysts efficiently, including tracking progress against deadlines and expected effort, and addressing issues like anomalies and conflicts.
  • Deliver analyses and observations that can support improved efficiency in client and Insight operations, including producing regular reporting and strategic reviews or planning workshops.
  • Provide second-line subject matter assistance to clients via the service desk when escalated by other SLS Analysts.
  • Utilize and continuously contribute to the LCS knowledge base and process libraries, including reviewing new contributions from SLS and LCS teammates.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to engaging with local account teams or solution sales teams to understand client requirements and help drive the delivery of solutions.
  • Act as a technical pre-sales advisor to Account Managers and Inside Sales Associates.
  • Support the onboarding and development of other SLS Analysts.
  • Proactively analyze opportunities to increase Insight's services footprint.

What We're Looking For

  • IT and Licensing knowledge (and, where agreed by management, associated certification) for at least three software publishers, to the level of being able to produce reconciliations independently and guide teammates on detailed analysis work.
  • Ability to interpret multiple data sets and summarize key points, highlighting methods used, expectations, and issues. You should be able to critically assess trends and observations to produce coherent recommendations.
  • Ability to execute product functionality demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders at various levels for at least one SAM tool (e.g., Flexera, Snow, Aspera, ELD).
  • Developing business acumen with an awareness of potential client needs and perceptions of service quality. You should consult with management in a success-oriented way, proactively suggesting ways to improve relationships.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with peers and internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
