NV5 Building Solutions provides analytics and technology-driven energy and operational solutions to our global clients. We are looking to expand our talented Energy Intelligence team that focuses on integrating technology into traditional building engineering and consulting services.

We are currently seeking a SkySpark Developer for our building analytics platform, NVision. This role will focus on leveraging SkySpark analytics platform and Axon Programming to improve building performance, energy efficiency, and operational intelligence.

The selected candidate will play a key role in driving innovative data driven solutions advancing FDD, MBCx (Monitoring-Based Commissioning), AutoCx, Digital Twin capabilities and ensuring business alignment across all initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex building systems and sensor data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for automation and performance improvement.
• Drive the Onboarding of new projects adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) consistently achieving timely delivery and maintaining exceptional quality outcomes.
• Contribute to R&D initiatives, optimize tasks by building tools and utilizing Agentic AI.
• Maintain clear communication within the team, manage stakeholders effectively and take full accountability for the assigned tasks.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies in AI, Building Automation, and Energy Management.

Required Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ Years of experience working on HVAC building data analytics preferably in Energy, Building Systems, IoT.
• Knowledge of BAS protocols such as nHaystack, BACnet etc.
• Proficiency in SkySpark analytics platform and Axon programming.
• Expertise in Haystack Tagging and Xeto specification framework.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into actionable business insights.
• Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of other programming languages like Fantom, Python is a plus.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and Agentic AI is a plus.
• Familiarity with Digital Twin framework.
• Prior experience in a multidisciplinary team environment.
