Key accountabilities: • Perform assigned skilled labor tasks to support production and maintenance operations. • Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively. • Assist in equipment installation, repair, and maintenance activities. • Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure safe operating conditions. • Follow work instructions, safety regulations, and quality standards. • Report equipment defects, safety hazards, and work progress to the supervisor. • Maintain good housekeeping in the work area. • Compliance with LOTO and HSE procedures. • Add responsibility for reporting unsafe conditions and supporting plant shut down activities.
Qualifications: • High School Diploma or Technical/Vocational Certificate in a relevant trade. Experience: • 1–3 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment.
Technical Skills: • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic workshop equipment. • Basic knowledge of production and maintenance procedures. • Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures. Behavioral Competencies: • Good teamwork and communication skills. • Attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Strong commitment to safety and workplace discipline. Systems / Digital Skills: • Ability to complete basic work records and documentation. • Familiarity with electronic work order or maintenance systems is an advantage.
