Role Description The SketchUp Modeler will be responsible for creating detailed 3D architectural models based on drawings, concepts, and design specifications, using SketchUp and related tools. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural plans, developing accurate building and interior models, applying materials and textures, organizing model layers and components, and preparing views for renders and presentations. The role also involves collaborating with designers and project teams, ensuring models meet quality and project standards, and updating models as designs evolve. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring consistent coordination with in-office team members and adherence to project timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SketchUp for 3D modeling of architectural and interior spaces, including components, groups, and scene management.
• Experience with rendering workflows and tools (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion or similar) to prepare models for visualization outputs.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with related design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD/BIM software) is beneficial.
• Good understanding of basic architectural and interior design principles, scales, and construction details.
• Strong organizational skills for file management, version control, and maintaining clean, well-structured models.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work full time on-site in Ahmedabad and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Prior experience in a 3D architectural studio or visualization firm is an advantage.
