Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sitecore Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable web applications and digital experience solutions using Sitecore and the .NET platform. This role involves end-to-end delivery of Sitecore-based solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices and business goals.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Sitecore CMS solutions with reusable components, templates, layouts, and renderings.
- Implement backend logic using C#, .NET, MVC, and integrate with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Support the full software development lifecycle from analysis and design to implementation and deployment.
- Work with Sitecore Experience Platform (xDB, xConnect) for advanced digital marketing capabilities.
- Configure Sitecore workflows, caching, security roles, and performance tuning.
- Utilize TDS (Team Development for Sitecore) or similar tools for item serialization and deployment.
- Ensure best practices in Sitecore architecture, development, and deployment are followed.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and front-end developers to ensure a seamless experience.
- Participate in code reviews, version control (Git, TFS), and team development practices.
- Provide technical documentation for architecture, configurations, and custom components.
- Contribute to troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Sitecore development, with at least one major enterprise-level Sitecore implementation.
- Proficient in:
- .NET (C#), MVC
- JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
- REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services
- SQL Server and relational database design
- Strong understanding of:
- Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles
- Software design patterns
- Sitecore architecture and Sitecore APIs
- Hands-on experience with:
- Templates, Layouts, Renderings, Data Bindings
- Sitecore caching, workflows, security, and permissions
- Familiarity with TDS, Unicorn, or other serialization tools.
- Comfortable using Git, TFS, or similar source control tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
- Sitecore Certification (e.g., Sitecore XP Developer)
- Experience with Sitecore Headless (JSS/SXA/Next.js)
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud hosting (Azure, AWS)
