Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Supervise Site Operations: Oversee daily work on-site, managing both sub-contractors and in-house workers to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.

Ensure Safety Compliance: Make sure all safety protocols are followed, and all workers comply with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.

Coordinate the Project: Work closely with the project manager and other teams to keep the project on track and meet deadlines.

Monitor Work Quality: Check the quality of work and ensure it meets the project specifications and industry standards.

Manage Workers: Provide clear instructions to workers, resolve issues, and ensure resources are used effectively.

Report Progress: Keep accurate records of daily activities, material usage, and site conditions. Report progress to the project manager.

Ensure Timely Completion: Manage the work schedule to avoid delays and ensure work is finished on time.

Lead Toolbox Meetings: Conduct daily meetings to discuss work priorities, safety, and any updates with the team.

Conduct Site Inspections: Regularly inspect the site to ensure work follows the construction plans and report any issues.

Coordinate with Contractors: Work with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Solve Problems: Address and resolve any issues that arise on-site, such as delays or safety concerns.

Maintain Equipment: Ensure all equipment and tools are in good condition and report any problems to management.

Manage Subcontractors: Oversee subcontractors work to make sure it meets the project's standards and deadlines.

Communicate with Clients: Keep clients and stakeholders updated on progress and address any concerns they may have.

Requirements:

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in a supervisory role.

Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to solve problems and manage a team effectively.

Knowledge: Experience in structural steel work is a plus.

Physical Fitness: Ability to handle the physical demands of working on-site.
