Site Supervisor

Role Overview: We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to oversee on-ground execution of OM Foundation's new campus construction in Yamuna Expressway. The role requires close coordination across multiple stakeholders - architect, contractor, and internal OM Foundation management - to ensure that construction progresses as per design, specifications, and timelines. This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring strong ownership, practical problem-solving, and consistent monitoring of execution quality.

Job Title: Site Supervisor

Type: Full-time (annual contract, extendable to 2-3 years)

Location: Onsite at Yamuna Expressway

Desired Joining Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

● Site Supervision & Execution Monitoring

• Ensure that all construction activities are executed in line with architectural drawings, technical specifications, and approved designs.
• Verify that materials used and workmanship meet defined requirements.
• Monitor daily on-site work and ensure adherence to quality standards.

● Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as the primary on-ground point of coordination between:
• Architect / design team
• Contractor and site labour
• OM Foundation management / subcommittee ○ Facilitate smooth communication and ensure alignment across all parties.

● Timeline & Progress Tracking

• Track construction progress against committed timelines.
• Identify delays proactively and flag risks early.
• Work with the contractor to resolve bottlenecks and maintain progress.

● Deviation Management

• Identify any deviations from drawings, specifications, or contracts.
• Immediately escalate issues to the architect and OM Foundation team.
• Support resolution and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

● On-ground Problem Solving

• Manage day-to-day site challenges (labour, materials, execution issues).
• Provide practical inputs to improve efficiency and avoid rework.

● Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain regular site reports (progress, issues, deviations).
• Share periodic updates with the management team.
• Ensure proper documentation of key site activities.

What We're Looking For:

● Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

● Prior experience (2-5 years) and strong understanding of civil construction and site execution;

Experience working on institutional / building projects is a plus.

● Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

● High sense of ownership and accountability.

● Strong coordination and communication skills.

● Practical problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

● Willingness to travel to and work full-time at a developing site.
