Site Supervisor
Location Pune
Job Summary
Responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities
Ensure safety compliance, quality control, and efficient site management
Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and workers
Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety standards
Roles & Responsibilities
Site Supervision & Execution
Supervise daily construction activities as per approved drawings and project requirements
Plan and organise daily work based on project schedule, manpower, and material availability
Track work progress through daily measurements and reports
Update senior staff regularly on site status
Safety Management
Ensure strict compliance with site safety rules and PPE usage (helmets, shoes, gloves, jackets, goggles, harnesses)
Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and regular site inspections
Ensure safe practices during work at height, electrical works, and material lifting
Take immediate action during accidents: stop work, arrange first aid, report incidents, and maintain records
Ensure proper display of safety signage as per company and statutory guidelines
Quality Control
Check and verify quality of materials through visual inspection, test certificates, and approvals
Ensure workmanship, curing, finishing, and execution meet quality standards
Stop non-conforming work and coordinate corrective actions with engineers
Maintain quality and site records (inspection reports, material approvals, test results, DPRs)
Manpower & Coordination
Manage and allocate manpower efficiently for productivity and timely completion
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for execution and material availability
Handle site issues such as delays, shortages, and worker conflicts professionally
Maintain discipline, productivity, and clear communication at site
Stakeholder Coordination
Act as a link between site team, engineers, and management
Support smooth project execution through effective coordination and reporting
Required Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of construction methods, safety practices, and quality standards
Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
Good problem-solving and decision-making ability
Effective manpower and site management capability
Qualification & Experience
Diploma / ITI / Civil Engineering background preferred
25 years of experience in building or infrastructure projects
