Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee our interior design projects. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on the project site, ensuring that work is executed according to design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the on-site execution of interior design projects, ensuring that work is being completed as per design plans and specifications.
- Monitor and coordinate the activities of contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure the project site is safe, organized, and compliant with local regulations.
- Oversee quality control and ensure that all work meets the required standards.
- Act as the point of contact between the project team, client, and contractors, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on-site in a timely manner.
- Assist in procurement and material sourcing, ensuring materials are on-site when needed.
- Maintain an accurate record of daily site activities, including site reports, labor usage, and material usage.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project timelines and schedules.
- Enforce health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all workers on-site.
- Monitor budget and costs, reporting any discrepancies or potential cost overruns to the project manager.
- Support the interior design team in implementing design changes or adjustments during the construction phase.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of proven experience as a Site Supervisor in interior design, construction, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of interior design processes, materials, and construction techniques.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of contractors and workers.
- In-depth understanding of safety regulations and construction site best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
