Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities at interior design and fit-out project sites. This role coordinates with designers, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure work is executed according to drawings, quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements. Daily tasks include supervising site teams, monitoring progress, managing materials and inventory, and resolving on-site issues or deviations. The Site Supervisor conducts regular inspections, documents milestones, and prepares progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients. The role also supports quality control, ensures adherence to project budgets, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized site environment.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in site supervision for interior design, architecture, construction, or related fit-out projects.
- Strong skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Proven ability to coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders on-site.
- Knowledge of basic construction methods, materials, and installation standards relevant to interiors.
- Familiarity with site safety practices, local regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage site teams and interact with clients professionally.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality control and finishing standards.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make practical decisions under time constraints.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, messaging apps) for reporting and coordination; exposure to project management or design software is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site full time in the Pune Division and adapt to varying project schedules when needed.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred; relevant site experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
