Site Reliability Engineer

Description

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability and performance of our systems, ensuring high availability and scalability. This role requires a mix of software engineering and systems engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing reliable and scalable systems.
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Automating processes and improving the efficiency of the development and operations teams.
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications.
• Participating in on-call rotations to support system uptime.
• Creating and maintaining documentation related to system architecture and processes.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Solid understanding of networking and security protocols.
