Role
We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Kubernetes (k8s), AWS Cloud, and infrastructure automation to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deploying, managing, and scaling applications in a cloud-native environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize multi-region Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud platforms e.g. AWS, Azure to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and seamless cross-cloud integration.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Act as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), working to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Migrate existing infrastructure stacks to Kubernetes clusters, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal resource utilization.
- Automate private cloud deployments, ensuring seamless integration and operation with public cloud resources.
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Set up and conduct load testing on applications and infrastructure to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Work closely with development teams to optimize application deployment and release processes.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Helmfile.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure infrastructure security and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and continuously improve processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (k8s) and experience with multiple cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience with Argo CD, Terraform, Helm, and Helmfile.
- Proven experience migrating infrastructure to Kubernetes clusters.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with setting up monitoring, alerts, and load testing.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
