Site Reliability Engineer

About Position:

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of production systems. This role involves working closely with development, DevOps, and operations teams to automate infrastructure, manage cloud environments, and maintain high availability of services.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of distributed systems
• Monitor system performance and implement proactive improvements
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve production incidents
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for infrastructure automation
• Automate deployment, configuration, and maintenance tasks
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based production systems
• Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, and Load Balancers
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintain operational runbooks

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster operations and troubleshooting
• Strong expertise in Linux system administration
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure management
• Proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management
• Experience with Git-based version control workflows
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics)
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
