Job description:

JD:

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high availability and resilience of services using SRE principles (SLI/SLO/SLA definitions, error budgets, toil reduction).

• Identify and fix systemic reliability issues through architectural improvements.

• Develop and enhance observability dashboards using tools like AppDynamics, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, OpenTelemetry etc.

• Establish Performance KPIs, monitor trends, and set alerting mechanisms for proactive detection.

• Collaborate with teams to implement distributed tracing and full stack performance visibility.

• Improve frontend performance and Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS, INP)—including network optimization, resource compression, and page rendering improvements.

• Perform end to end performance analysis across application, database, infrastructure, and cloud layers.

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks using APM & profiling tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog, JFR, YourKit).

• Optimize JVM, GC, threads, queries, caching, and microservices performance.

• Conduct load, stress, soak, and scalability testing using JMeter/Gatling/K6.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge on RUM and APM tools – AppDynamics (preferable), New Relic, Datadog

• Hands on experience with Cloud platforms ( AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, Dynamo DB, Cloudwatch, API Gateway, ALB etc)/ Azure), SQL/No SQL DBs, caching strategies.

• Understanding of Core Web Vitals, browser performance, web rendering pipelines, CDN optimization.

• Frontend profiling tools using lighthouse/chrome dev tools etc

• Performance scripting – Jmeter, K6, Gatling etc.

• Dashboarding skills with monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Quantum metrics, ELK, Grafana
