Site Reliability Engineer

Role Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of customer-facing platforms. The role requires strong expertise in Windows-based production environments (IIS) along with cloud, automation, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain highly available Windows & Linux systems, with focus on IIS-hosted applications
• Administer and troubleshoot IIS in production environments (performance, logs, security)
• Analyze system metrics and ensure performance and scalability
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins / GitHub Actions
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation
• Handle incident management, RCA, and service improvements
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices
• Automate routine tasks using scripting and tools
• Collaborate with DevOps, DBA, and Security teams

Organizational Alignment

• Reports to the Senior SRE Manager
• This role involves close collaboration with DevOps, DBA, and security teams.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Windows Server environments in production
• Hands-on expertise in IIS (installation, configuration, troubleshooting, log analysis)
• Proven experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Strong experience with Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Platform
• Experience analyzing application, IIS, system, and security logs
• Strong understanding of SRE/DevOps practices
• Experience supporting high availability systems

• Mid-Level: 4–7 Years
• Senior Level: 8+ Years

Additional Job Details:

• Working hours: 2:00 PM / 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM IST
• Interview process: 3 technical rounds
• Work model: 3 days work from office

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science / IT / Related Field or equivalent experience
