Responsibilities
- Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets to balance reliability with feature velocity and ensure optimal system availability.
- Respond to production incidents during business hours, conduct post-mortem analysis, and implement preventive measures to reduce MTTR and improve system resilience.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify bottlenecks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of new features and applications.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using automation tools.
- Implement security best practices and participate in vulnerability assessments.
- Manage and maintain on-premises & cloud-based infrastructure.
- Participate in capacity planning and system design to support scalability and future growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve development workflows and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 26 years experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a SRE, DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Harbor.
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps using Fortify, SonarQube, Blackduck.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python.
- Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with on-premises or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools to track system health and performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
