Site Building Project Manager - Contract

Paritas is working with a leading IT Consultancy who are looking for a Site Building Project Manager to join a global Oil & Gas major.

You will serve as the on-the-ground liaison between field teams, construction vendors, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment of systems, networking, and operational technologies (OT) in live industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the site enablement and IT build-out process, including networking, cabling, power, and comms infrastructure.
• Act as the interface between client engineering teams, IT architects, vendors, and operations.
• Oversee physical readiness of each site, including space allocation, hardware placement, and cabling routes.
• Ensure all pre-requisites for site go-live (power, cooling, HSE access) are delivered on time.
• Manage third-party contractors and on-site installers to agreed schedules and technical standards.
• Maintain project documentation, track deliverables, and produce status reports to PMO and client stakeholders.
• Support change control, risk mitigation, and escalation processes.
• Ensure all activity aligns with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards specific to oil & gas sites.
• Conduct site readiness assessments and facilitate handover to operations or service teams.
• Work closely with the client's Digital Infrastructure, OT, and Security teams to ensure compliance and integration.

Experience:

• The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience
• Demonstrable experience coordinating site readiness and IT builds (LAN/WAN, racks, switches, APs, etc.).
• Proven background working within consultancy or system integrator environments.
• Understanding of Oil & Gas site safety protocols, and ability to manage vendors in compliance with client HSE rules.
• Strong project management skills – planning, tracking, risk, and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure, data center moves, or digital site enablement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement at site and senior levels.
