Role Summary
The Measurement & Technical Mapping (MMT) Executive is responsible for accurate site measurement, technical verification, and digital site modelling to enable error-free design and execution. This role is critical in eliminating assumptions, preventing rework, and ensuring smooth downstream design, BOQ, and execution processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Freshers with coachable attitude are also welcome
- Conduct detailed site measurements covering layout, heights, levels, and circulation.
- Capture comprehensive visual documentation (high-quality photos and walkthrough videos).
- Identify and document all structural elements (RCC beams, columns, shear walls, sunken slabs).
- Verify construction type (brick masonry, Mivan/RCC, etc.) and wall feasibility through nail testing.
- Physically verify and record all MEP points (electrical, plumbing, AC, exhausts, shafts, and core cuts).
- Measure and document all door/window openings, sill/head levels, and window operations.
- Identify collision risks with furniture, cabinetry, and wall-mounted installations.
- Prepare hand sketches and annotations for complex or non-standard areas.
- Create accurate and complete models reflecting all site conditions and constraints.
- Adhere strictly to Design Manager–defined modelling layers, standards, and timelines.
Accountability
- Full ownership of site data accuracy and completeness.
- Any errors, omissions, or unverified assumptions leading to redesign, BOQ mismatch, or execution issues will be treated as a performance lapse.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of residential construction and interiors
- High attention to detail and structured documentation skills
- Proficiency in site measurement and technical verification
- Working knowledge of SketchUp or similar 3D modelling tools
- Ability to identify risks and flag constraints proactively
- Clear communication and coordination with design teams
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Prior experience in site measurement, technical mapping, or execution support preferred
- Familiarity with residential MEP coordination is mandatory
