Description
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee our construction projects in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with the ability to lead teams and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations at the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project alignment and address concerns.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and meeting minutes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 6-7 years of experience in construction management or site supervision.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently.
