Site Manager

We are looking for Site Manager to be based in Chennai, India. This position reports to Manager, - Site Management. In this position you will have an opportunity and responsible for coordinating and managing all on-site operations to ensure the installation and erection of the plant
In this position, you will be required and responsible for:
- Responsible for ensuring regular site safety checks are conducted and maintaining strict quality control procedures including regular testing of materials, visual inspections of work, and frequent tours of the site.
- Set, monitor and report the performance of the site against standards and targets.
- Develop and implement a variety of operating policies and procedures (in conjunction with subject matter experts) to ensure that the site meets project targets and quality standards.
- Coordinate pre-site and on-site meetings with a range of professionals, and the customer who has commissioned the work.
- Controlling and checking the site budget on weekly basis.
To Succeed This Role, You Will Need
- Bachelor / Master degree at Mechanical Engineering.
- 15-20 years in the Pulp Mills, Boiler plants (especially Recovery Boilers, Gasifiers), wood handling construction field. Should have handled multiple products in his career
- Experience in Valmet supplied plants is preferred.
- Must be willing to travel and stay at site for long duration in India and abroad
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English
