Responsibilities
- versee all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws and safety regulations
- Ensure the alignment of people practices and policies as per the group and business unit guidelines.
- Design and execute initiatives for high employee engagement to optimize productivity.
- Facilitate administrative processes including the guest house, employee travel, transport facilities, and other related tasks within the allocated budget.
- Manage the external environment and adequately handle site issues in consultation with the leadership team.
- Manage industrial harmony at the site for smooth operation.
- Ensure 100% statutory compliances and liaise with central, state labor, and other authorities for smooth operation of the site.
- Stay up-to-date with current IR legislation and amendments and ensure the same is updated in the Policies and SOPs.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the business objectives and drive operational excellence
- Lead the development and implementation of robust training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce
- Partner with senior leadership to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
- Lead and support organizational change efforts by driving effective communication, change management strategies, and employee engagement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and company policies, with a focus on promoting a safe and ethical work environment
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering a culture of professional development, teamwork, and accountability
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, industry associations, and government bodies to stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes

Qualifications
Education Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Post-graduate qualification in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations is highly desirable
Experiences: Min 10 Years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and implementing HR strategies in a mining or heavy industry environment
- Proven experience in managing complex HR issues such as labor relations, safety protocols, and talent acquisition in the mining sector
- Experience in driving organizational change and fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within a mining or heavy industrial setting
