Job Description – Site Head (Electrical & Instrumentation)
Position: Site Head – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)
Experience: 10+ Years
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering / Electronics Engineering
Industry Experience: Oil & Gas / Power / Heavy Process Industry / EPC Projects
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily E&I construction and installation activities at site.
- Supervise panel frame fabrication, cable tray installation, cabling, field instrument installation and calibration.
- Manage installation of PLC/DCS panels, loop checking, testing and commissioning activities.
- Lead pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning and system handover.
- Manage contractors, manpower, vendors and site resources to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor manpower productivity and material reconciliation.
- Coordinate with clients and provide regular site progress reports to the Head Office.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and project standards.
- Oversee site HR & Administration, Stores/Inventory, Planning and Safety activities.
- Resolve technical and execution-related issues at site.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a senior site leadership/managerial role.
- Strong experience in large-scale E&I EPC projects.
- Excellent leadership, contractor management and client coordination skills.
- Strong knowledge of E&I construction, testing and commissioning.
- Willingness to work at project site and manage complete site operations.
