Role Description :
Pillar Story is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer to manage and oversee all on-site execution for architectural and interior projects. The candidate will be fully responsible for ensuring that site work progresses as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. This role requires strong coordination with contractors, vendors, designers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities :
Site Execution & Supervision
- Oversee day-to-day architectural and interior site execution
- Ensure all work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and approved designs
- Supervise contractors, carpenters, fabricators, and other site workers
- Ensure proper sequencing and coordination of site activities
Quality Control
- Monitor and maintain quality standards for all materials and workmanship
- Conduct regular inspections of ongoing work
- Ensure compliance with design specifications and finishing standards
- Identify and rectify site issues before they affect quality
Site Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for all site-related matters
- Clarify drawings, specifications, and technical doubts to contractors and site teams
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and consultants
- Ensure proper communication between the design office and the site
Progress Monitoring
- Track and report daily and weekly progress updates
- Ensure work is completed within project timelines
- Identify delays or bottlenecks and proactively resolve them
- Maintain site documentation, including reports and site photos
Material & Specification Checks
- Verify materials delivered to the site as per approved specifications
- Ensure correct installation methods are followed
- Conduct inspections before approving further stages of work
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 24 years of experience in architectural or interior project execution
- Strong understanding of site drawings, detailing, and finishing standards
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and contractors on-site
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings
