Job Description – Site Engineer (S&T)
Position: Site Engineer (Signal & Telecommunications – S&T)
Location: Bhusawal, Nagpur, Mumbai, Solapur & Pune (with site visits as required)
No. of Positions: 2
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor Signal & Telecommunication (S&T) works associated with Railway infrastructure projects.
- Ensure execution of S&T installations in accordance with approved drawings, Railway standards, technical specifications, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, Railway authorities, consultants, and project stakeholders for smooth implementation of works.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, testing, and commissioning of S&T systems.
- Review progress of works, verify measurements, and maintain project documentation and reports.
- Identify and resolve site-related technical issues to ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
- Visit project sites as and when required based on instructions from the Authority.
Educational Qualification
- Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.
Experience Requirements
- Degree Holders: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Diploma Holders: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Relevant Experiencae
The Candidate Should Have At Least 3 Years Of Experience As a Site Engineer/Supervisor With a Construction Agency In Any Of The Following
- Railway Bridge / Rail Infrastructure / Road Over Bridge (ROB) construction projects; OR
- Metro Rail viaduct / flyover construction projects.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Railway Signalling and Telecommunication systems, including coordination with Railway departments, installation supervision, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Experience in construction of Road Over Bridges (ROB) over Railway Lines will be highly preferred.
Special Requirement
- One of the S&T personnel should preferably be a retired Railway employee.
