Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer role based in Lucknow. The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work is carried out according to approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards. Responsibilities include monitoring progress on site, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal teams, and resolving technical and operational issues promptly. The role involves conducting regular site inspections, supervising quality control checks, and documenting site reports, measurements, and project updates. The Site Engineer will also support planning and scheduling, assist in resource allocation, and help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering, with the ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience in on-site project execution and supervision, preferably in government or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of quality control processes, construction standards, and safety practices on construction sites.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in basic project documentation, reporting, and use of site-related software or tools (e.g., MS Office, basic CAD exposure is a plus).
- Ability to work full time on site in Lucknow, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
- Prior experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within construction or infrastructure development is preferred.
