Site Engineer – Rooftop Solar PV

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation of rooftop solar systems including mounting structures, PV modules, DC/AC cabling, earthing, and lightning protection
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, BOQs, and quality standards
• Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, and labor teams on-site
• Implement and monitor HSE policies, including work-at-height safety and toolbox talks
• Track daily site progress, maintain DPRs, manpower records, and closure of punch points
• Liaise with clients, building management, and vendors for smooth execution
• Support inspection, testing, and pre-commissioning activities
• Ensure proper material handling and safety of rooftop assets

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / ITI / Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy
• 1–3 years of experience in rooftop solar PV projects
• Experience working on metal sheet, RCC, or industrial rooftops
• Ability to read technical drawings and manage site teams effectively
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Willingness to travel and work across multiple project locations (PAN India)
