Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a Site Engineer specializing in Metal Roofing & Wall Cladding. The Site Engineer will oversee the on-site execution of projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines. Responsible for supervising and coordinating metal roofing and wall cladding works on MNC projects. Ensures quality, safety, and timely execution while preparing accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and site documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise installation of metal roofing and wall cladding in line with drawings and specifications.
- Prepare BOQs based on shop drawings, site measurements, and sketches.
- Conduct site inspections, verify workmanship, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Enforce safety protocols and monitor safe working practices.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project schedules.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers for smooth execution.
- Maintain daily progress reports and site records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 1 - 3 years of site supervision experience, preferably in roofing/cladding works.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, measurement techniques, and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
