Job Summary:The Project Engineer Interior (Airport Project) will be responsible for execution and coordination of interior works within airport premises, ensuring strict compliance with aviation standards, safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute and supervise interior fit-out works in airport terminals, lounges, commercial areas, and support facilities
- Ensure compliance with airport authority norms, security protocols, and permit-to-work systems
- Coordinate with architects, PMC, airport authorities, and multiple stakeholders
- Manage interior works including finishes, false ceiling, flooring, wall cladding, joinery, signage, and furniture
- Coordinate closely with MEP, ELV, fire, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration
- Monitor project schedules, daily progress, and manpower productivity
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to approved drawings and BOQs
- Prepare DPRs, method statements, and inspection reports
- Handle measurements, certifications, and vendor billing
- Support testing, inspections, snag clearance, and final handover
Required Skills & Competencies:- Strong experience in airport or large infrastructure interior projects
- In-depth knowledge of interior materials, fire-rated systems, and finishes
- Familiarity with airport security procedures and work permits
- Ability to manage multiple agencies in high-security environments
- Strong coordination, documentation, and reporting skills
