Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive
Site Engineer with experience in the solar energy sector to manage on-site project execution. The candidate will be responsible for supervising installation, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with teams for timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise installation and commissioning of solar power systems (Rooftop / Ground-mounted).
- Ensure proper execution of civil, structural, and electrical work at the site.
- Monitor daily site activities and maintain progress reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and contractors.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments.
- Troubleshoot on-site technical issues during installation.
- Maintain documentation such as BOQ, site reports, and installation checklists.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in solar project installation (mandatory).
- Knowledge of solar systems, inverters, panels, and wiring.
- Familiarity with net metering and government regulations is a plus.
- Ability to read technical drawings and layouts.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to different project sites.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in handling rooftop solar projects.
- Knowledge of tools like AutoCAD or similar design software.
- Basic understanding of project management and reporting tools.
