Position Title : Site Engineer

Reporting To: Project Manager / Operations Head
Purpose Of The Role
To oversee the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of elevators and escalators, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality protocols, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the execution of elevator and escalator installation projects at client sites.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and client teams for timely project delivery.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation or servicing.
Monitor and document progress, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Ensure proper handling and storage of equipment and materials on-site.
Train and manage on-site teams, including subcontractors, technicians, and helpers.
Communicate with clients to address concerns and provide updates.
Conduct final testing, commissioning, and handover of elevators to clients.
Prepare and submit project reports to management.
Key Skills
Knowledge of elevator and escalator systems (mechanical, electrical, and automation).
Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Project management and leadership skills.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Educational Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
Certification in lift engineering or safety management (preferred).
Experience
3 to 6 years in the lift/elevator industry (installation or servicing).
