Agnikul Cosmos is a company incubated at IIT Madras and we build rockets that can take satellites up to 500 kg to Lower Earth Orbit (LEO). In May 2024, we successfully completed our maiden launch from our own launchpad (India's first private launchpad). We are looking for a Civil Engineer with 25 years of experience in civil design and site coordination, with hands-on experience in CAD and exposure to site supervision. Responsibilities
Prepare and review civil design drawings using CAD and civil design software.
Assist in civil design development, detailing, and documentation for projects.
Coordinate between design teams, contractors, and site teams to ensure proper implementation of drawings.
Conduct site inspections to verify work progress and compliance with design specifications.
Support site execution activities and provide technical guidance during construction.
Review drawings and resolve design or execution-related issues during project implementation.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Manage assigned tasks independently and coordinate with stakeholders when required.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E / B.Tech).
25 years of experience in civil engineering with a mix of design and site exposure.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar).
Experience with civil design software.
Exposure to site supervision / junior site supervisor responsibilities.
Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate civil drawings.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle tasks independently and coordinate project activities.
