  • Leadership Role which requires the Site Head to manage multiple Plant Heads
  • Site Head position in a Niche Electronics Driven Manufacturing space

Job Description

As the Site Head, you will spearhead the entire operational setup and scaleup of the new manufacturing Site - including production strategy, process establishment, operational governance, workforce planning, and ensuring seamless rampup of a highvolume electronics line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead endtoend plant operations - production, process setup, quality, engineering, supply chain coordination, and operational KPIs.
  • Oversee establishment of the greenfield unit, ensuring timely commissioning, line balancing, and capacity planning.
  • Build strong manufacturing processes aligned to highvolume automotive/electronics standards.
  • Drive performance around throughput, cost efficiency, OEE, manpower productivity, and safety.
  • Manage a diverse workforce across blue and whitecollar, including seasonal scaling aligned to fluctuating customer demand.
  • Implement strong financial controls with deep focus on costing, budgeting etc
  • Promote digital and automated manufacturing practices, including MES adoption and integration of automation technologies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Site Head should have:

  • 15-25 Years of overall experience in Manufacturing/Operations with at-least 5+ of experience in Multi- Plant Operations with a M.Tech/B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience in the Automotive OEM/Electronic Auto Component/Consumer Electronics Manufacturing/EMS manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Production Processes and Plant Operations.
  • Excellent leadership and Team Management skills.
  • Experience managing large operational teams, including shop-floor workforce and technical staff.
  • Ability to navigate seasonal manpower fluctuations and optimise labour productivity.
  • Exposure to automation, Industry 4.0 practices, and MES systems is preferred.
  • Keeping abreast with evolving automotive and electronics technologies will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
