A Construction Site Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing residential building works at site while ensuring quality, safety, cost control, and timely completion. The role includes reviewing drawings and specifications, setting out works, coordinating with subcontractors and consultants, checking quantities, monitoring progress, and maintaining compliance with applicable standards and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise day to day site activities for residential building construction and ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
• Review architectural, structural, and service drawings and identify discrepancies before execution.
• Carry out setting out, leveling, and site checks to ensure accurate execution of civil works.
• Check plans, drawings, and quantities for technical accuracy and coordinate with the planning and billing teams where required.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams for smooth progress of work.
• Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment usage to support productivity and schedule adherence.
• Ensure workmanship and materials comply with project specifications, approved methods, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, prepare progress updates, and highlight technical or execution issues to management.
• Enforce site safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and statutory compliance at all times.
• Verify measurements, maintain site records, and support preparation of daily reports, checklists, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in residential building construction, including structure, masonry, finishing, or allied site activities.
• Practical knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, and site execution controls.
Required Skills
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and execution methods.
• Ability to supervise site activities, contractors, and labor teams effectively.
• Knowledge of quantity checking, material coordination, and progress monitoring.
• Familiarity with quality checks, safety practices, and compliance requirements on construction sites.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem solving skills.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project tracking tools is an advantage.
Preferred Profile
• Experience in villa, apartment, or multi storey residential building projects.
• Ability to handle site execution independently with minimum supervision.
• Strong focus on quality, timelines, and practical problem resolution at site.
