Site Civil Engineer

We are looking for an Manager – Projects to be a part of our Retail Projects team at BASICS Menswear.

Please find below the Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of new store fit-outs, renovations, relocations, and refurbishment projects across the assigned territory.
• Prepare, review, and modify store layout drawings using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, landlords, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards throughout the execution phase.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to approved designs, brand standards, and safety guidelines.
• Manage civil, electrical, HVAC, and interior fit-out works for retail stores.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard project vendors and contractors while ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
• Liaise with internal departments such as Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising, Procurement, and Finance for seamless project execution.
• Ensure completion of project documentation, vendor bills, and statutory approvals.
• Handle store maintenance requirements and ensure timely closure of issues for existing stores.
• Prepare project status reports and provide regular updates to the management team.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (Preferred).

Experience:

• 5-8 years of experience in Retail Project Management, preferably in the Apparel, Fashion, or Lifestyle Retail industry.
• Proven experience in managing multiple retail store projects simultaneously.
• Hands-on experience in AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of retail store fit-outs, renovations, and maintenance.
• Experience in vendor management, budgeting, and project coordination.
