Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Civil Engineer role based in MIDC Taloja. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee day-to-day civil works, ensuring that construction activities comply with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Responsibilities include supervising contractors and site staff, coordinating with project managers and design teams, monitoring material quality and quantities, and maintaining accurate site records. The role will involve assisting in planning and scheduling, resolving technical issues on site, and supporting stormwater management and drainage implementations as per approved drawings. The Site Civil Engineer will also participate in site inspections, progress reviews, and reporting to support timely and cost-effective project completion.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and applied Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and implement technical drawings and specifications.
  • Hands-on experience working as part of Civil Engineering teams or as Civil Engineers on construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Competence in Planning, including sequencing of activities, resource coordination, and aligning site work with project schedules.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations for civil construction projects.
  • Proficiency in common engineering and office software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar drafting tools, MS Office, MS Project); exposure to project management tools is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and on-site stakeholders.
  • Ability to work full time on site in Pimpri Chinchwad, including regular field visits and supervision of ongoing works.
  • Previous experience in turnkey, infrastructure, or building projects will be considered a plus.
