Role Description

This is a full-time on-site opportunity located in New Delhi for a Site Architect. The Site Architect will oversee architectural designs at construction sites, manage project timelines and resources, coordinate with engineering teams, and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. The individual will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the integration of architectural and technical aspects throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day architectural activities at the site.
• Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and design intent.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants for seamless execution.
• Review shop drawings, material samples, and mock-ups for approval.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, workmanship, and progress.
• Resolve site-related design issues and provide technical clarifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site engineers.
• Maintain site records including drawings, revisions, reports, and measurements.
• Ensure adherence to safety norms and statutory compliances.
• Report progress updates to senior architects and project management team.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking.
• Participate in site meetings and prepare MOMs (Minutes of Meetings).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
• Registration with Council of Architecture (preferred).
• 37 years of relevant experience in site execution.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or institutional projects (as applicable).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of construction detailing and materials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/SketchUp is an advantage.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of local building by-laws and construction practices.
• Time management and ability to handle multiple site activities.
  

Project Management Skills (Mandatory)

Strong project management skills are essential for the Site Architect role. The candidate should possess formal training or certification in Project Management from NICMAR (or equivalent), with the ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor site activities effectively. This includes managing timelines, resources, consultants, contractors, and ensuring smooth execution in line with project schedules, quality standards, and budget requirements.
