About Luxehouze
Luxehouze is a fast-growing omnichannel luxury marketplace operating across Indonesia and Singapore, serving high-value customers in watches, fashion, and beauty. We operate in an environment where trust, speed and excellence matter, and where outcomes matter more than activity.
We are looking for a Singapore Luxury Market and Sourcing Consultant, who takes responsibility naturally, thinks in outcomes and wants to build, improve, and scale — not just execute tasks.
What Will Be Challenging
Please read this carefully - it's here to help you self-select.
- Expectations are high and visible
- Problems may be ambiguous and fast-moving
- Priorities can change as the business scales
- Feedback is direct and frequent
- Performance is measured by results, not intentions
- If you require rigid structure, narrow scope, or close supervision to perform well, this environment may not be a good fit.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Singapore luxury market and buying consultant, providing regular insights on current and emerging consumer demand across luxury fashion, handbags, shoes, accessories and other relevant categories.
- Identify what luxury products, brands, collections, models, colours, materials and styles are currently trending or likely to trend in the Singapore market.
- Monitor market signals across boutiques, resale platforms, social media, influencers, fashion communities, luxury events and other relevant channels to identify emerging demand early.
- Develop recommendations on what products/brands we should buy, source or prioritise based on market demand, desirability, liquidity and resale potential.
- Provide insights on Singapore-specific consumer preferences, including differences by customer segment, gender, age group, occasion and price point.
- Advise the Growth, Merchandising and Commercial teams on product assortment and buying priorities for the Singapore market.
- Identify potential high-demand / high-velocity products as well as niche or emerging products with potential to become future trends.
- Provide regular market intelligence reports / buying recommendations, including rationale, expected demand and recommended products to prioritise.
- Where possible, leverage personal industry relationships and networks to identify and connect the company with potential suppliers, dealers, collectors, resellers, boutiques or other relevant sourcing channels.
- Support the team in evaluating potential sourcing opportunities, including product desirability, marketability, pricing and expected sell-through.
- Share intelligence on competitor assortment, pricing, promotions and product availability to identify market gaps and opportunities.
- Work closely with the Growth team to translate market insights into commercial opportunities, campaigns, collections and product drops.
- Source and acquire luxury watches, handbags, jewelry, and other luxury items from individual sellers, collectors, dealers, and business partners in Singapore.
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with high-net-worth clients, collectors, and industry partners to secure quality inventory.
- Evaluate market trends, pricing, and demand to make strategic buying decisions that maximize profitability.
- Identify sourcing opportunities through networking, events, referrals, and digital channels.
- Monitor competitors pricing, product availability, and market movements within the Singapore luxury market.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Requirement & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in luxury fashion, luxury retail, luxury buying, merchandising, fashion consulting, personal shopping, resale or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of the Singapore luxury market and local consumer behaviour.
- Demonstrated knowledge of luxury brands such as Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Celine, Dior, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Loewe, Prada, Balenciaga, The Row and other relevant luxury brands.
- Strong understanding of luxury product desirability, trends and resale value, particularly for handbags, fashion and accessories.
- Proven ability to identify emerging trends before they become mainstream.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset — able to distinguish between something that is simply fashionable and something with genuine market demand / commercial potential.
- Strong network within the Singapore luxury ecosystem is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn market observations into clear and actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable working independently in a consulting / freelance capacity with limited supervision.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, product knowledge and luxury brand positioning.
- Existing relationships with luxury suppliers, dealers, collectors, resellers or other sourcing channels would be highly advantageous.
