Silicon Validation Lead (PSV Lead)- 1

Role Summary

We are seeking an experiencedPost-Silicon ValidationLeadto drive SoC validation activities across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have deepexpertisein DDR and Ethernet validation, strong debugging skills, and proven experience in system-level feature enablement.

Key Responsibilities

• LeadSoC validation execution, including:
• System-level validation
• IP-level validation
• Feature-level validation
• Collaborate with internal and external validation teams across all silicon development stages.
• Set up andmaintainlab environments, including test machines and equipment.
• Enable andvalidatecritical SoC features such as:
• CPU, DDR, PCIe, USB, UMC, Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort
• OS optimizations and I/O systems
• Debug and resolve complex system-level issues across hardware, firmware, and software domains.
• Engage horizontally across silicon development stages (IP bring-up, firmware development, feature enablement, validation).
• Collaborate vertically across hardware, firmware, OS/drivers, and applications for seamless integration.
• Prepare validation plans, sign-off documents, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience:
• 10 years in Post-Silicon Validation
• 68 years in DDR and Ethernet validation
• Strong knowledge ofARM and x86 architectures.
• Proven ability to debug complex system-level issues.
• Familiarity withMicrosoft Client OSandLinux OSvalidation processes.
• Expertiseincomponentcompatibility and stress testing.
• ProficiencyinC and Pythonfor test case development and automation.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment:
• Trace32 (T32), oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, TCU, chillers, DMM, logic analyzers.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SoC bring-up and feature enablement.
• Exposure to automotive or consumer electronics platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and bug tracking tools (JIRA, IBM ETM).
