Project Role Description : Write the software that powers and operates a silicon chip. Develop pre-silicon firmware and software with a direct interface to hardware. Integrate and develop C tests/APIs and software build flow. Perform design and code reviews. Test and validate product implementations.

Summary:
As a Silicon Firmware and Embedded Engineer, a typical day involves writing and developing software that directly controls and operates silicon chips. This role includes creating firmware before silicon fabrication, integrating tests and application programming interfaces, and managing the software build process. The engineer actively participates in design and code reviews to ensure quality and reliability. Testing and validating product implementations are key daily activities, requiring close collaboration with hardware teams to deliver robust and efficient embedded solutions.

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware components.
- Maintain thorough documentation of design decisions, code changes, and testing outcomes.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on embedded software development.
- Continuously improve firmware performance and reliability through iterative testing and debugging.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Embedded C.
- Experience with low-level programming and hardware interfacing.
- Strong understanding of embedded system architecture and real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques for embedded environments.
- Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Good To Have Skills: Python (Programming Language), Embedded C++.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Embedded C.
- This position is based at our BDC7C - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
