Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) Engineers – Bangalore (Electronic City)

Experience: 2–7 Years

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Signal Integrity (SI) Engineer to support high-speed interface development and validation for next-generation semiconductor products. The candidate will work on advanced technologies including LPDDR6, PCIe Gen5, USB3.2 Gen2, MIPI CSI, UFS 4.0, HDMI, and 10G Ethernet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform channel modeling, extraction, and eye analysis for high-speed interfaces.
  • Conduct pre-layout and post-layout SI simulations to ensure compliance with interface standards.
  • Analyze crosstalk, reflections, jitter, insertion loss, and return loss.
  • Collaborate with design, package, and PCB teams to optimize signal integrity performance.
  • Generate technical reports and provide design recommendations based on simulation results.
  • Support debugging and validation activities for high-speed interfaces.
    • All SI tasks described above (channel modeling, extractions, eye analysis).
    • Perform power integrity extractions and simulations for high-speed interfaces.
    • Model and analyze package/board PDN
    • Define decoupling strategy and validate against system requirements.
    • Provide design guidelines balancing both SI and PI constraints .
Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of signal integrity concepts for high-speed serial and memory interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • HFSS / Clarity
    • Siwave / PowerSI
    • SystemSI / ADS / AEDT
  • Familiarity with JEDEC, LPDDR5/LPDDR6, PCIe, and UCIe standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong background in both signal and power integrity .
    • Hands-on experience with SI tools (listed above).
    • Proficiency with PI extraction/simulation tools (e.g., PowerSI, SIwave, AEDT, HSPICE, equivalent).
    • Knowledge of DDR, PCIe, UCIe standards and PDN design best practices.
    • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
Preferred Skills

  • Experience with advanced package and PCB analysis.
  • Exposure to high-speed interface validation and compliance testing.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
