Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Discrete Event Simulation / Plant Simulation Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced simulation models for manufacturing plants, logistics networks, warehouses, and production systems.

The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation with strong manufacturing domain knowledge and modern digital engineering technologies. The role requires leading simulation-driven transformation initiatives, validating future-state operational scenarios, performing what-if analyses, optimizing resources, and enabling data-driven decision-making for clients.

This position requires close collaboration with product owners, business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology teams while driving simulation architecture and solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation models for manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse operations.
• Perform throughput, bottleneck, capacity, and resource optimization analysis.
• Conduct what-if scenario simulations to improve operational efficiency and validate future-state processes.
• Build and maintain Discrete Event Simulation (DES) models to support business and operational decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and present simulation insights and recommendations.
• Support Digital Twin, Industry 4.0, and smart manufacturing initiatives.
• Integrate simulation models with production and operational data sources.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership on simulation projects.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in simulation, XR, and digital manufacturing.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience in Discrete Event Simulation and manufacturing systems.
• Strong expertise in Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation.
• Experience in material flow, throughput, bottleneck, capacity, and resource optimization modeling.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, Java, or VBA.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, production, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Experience working with Automotive, Consumer Goods, Retail, or Industrial Manufacturing domains.
• Knowledge of 3D visualization, Digital Twin, Unity, Unreal Engine, or Omniverse is highly preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
