REPORTING TO Customer Experience Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Showroom Sales Coordinator will be the first point of interaction for many prospective customers enquiring about their home interiors. The role involves understanding customer requirements, building trust through conversations, coordinating showroom visits and design consultations, and ensuring consistent follow-up throughout the customer journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills, emotional maturity, customer engagement ability, and consultation-oriented follow-up skills.

• Engage with new and existing customer enquiries through calls and follow-ups.

• Understand customer requirements, project timelines, and interior expectations.

• Qualify leads and coordinate showroom visits, design consultations, and site meetings.

• Build positive customer relationships through professional and meaningful conversations.

• Share company profile, portfolio, process details, and appointment information confidently.

• Maintain and update lead details in CRM / Excel systems.

• Coordinate with Sales and Design teams for customer appointments and follow-ups.

• Ensure timely and consistent customer engagement until consultation and conversion stages.

• Support the overall customer journey from enquiry to business opportunity.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong verbal communication skills in Tamil and English.

• Excellent customer handling and relationship-building ability.

• Confidence in handling conversations and follow-ups.

• Ability to manage customer objections and rejections professionally.

• Good listening skills and conversational intelligence.

• Positive attitude, ownership mindset, and emotional maturity.

• Basic knowledge of Excel and CRM tools preferred.

• Professional tone, clarity in communication, and polished interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE BACKGROUNDS

Candidates with prior experience in the following industries will be preferred:

• Interior design firms • Real estate • Automobile showrooms • Premium retail • Jewellery showrooms

• Educational counselling • Hospitality / guest relations • Customer relationship or consultation

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Any Graduate / Diploma

• 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred

• Freshers with exceptional communication and customer engagement skills may also be considered

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

• Qualified customer conversations

• Qualified showroom visits scheduled

• Consultation appointments completed • Follow-up consistency and lead nurturing

COMPENSATION

• Fixed Salary

• Performance Incentives

• ₹250 incentive for every qualified customer meeting / showroom visit
