Role: Should Costing Engineer

Location: Kharadi, Pune

Experience Range: 5+ years

Work Mode: All 5 days onsite

Role & responsibilities

• Develop detailed should-cost models for sheet metal fabricated and machined components
• Analyze engineering drawings and define manufacturing processes
• Perform process planning including routing, machine selection, and operation sequencing
• Estimate cycle times, setup times, and overall manufacturing costs
• Evaluate cost drivers and identify cost reduction opportunities

Technical Skills & Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal, Fabrication, and Machining processes

Good understanding of:

• Materials, alloys, and their costing Machine rates , Process cycle time estimation, Surface treatment and heat treatment processes & rates NDT inspection methods and their costing Hands-on experience in process planning
• Experience in part cost estimation and cost modeling
• Exposure to cost negotiation with customers/suppliers Knowledge of costing tools; experience with a Priori will be an added advantage.
